Mr. Manish Pungliya

Founder & Director

Founder & Director of AyuGen Biosciences Pvt Ltd. Manish brings an expertise in bioinformatics and genetics. He has over 15 years of experience in pharmacogenomics and population genetics. He has published and presented research articles in International conferences and Journals. He obtained his B.Pharmacy degree Poona College of Pharmacy, India and then M.S. in biology with specialization in bioinformatics and genetics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, MA, USA. Previously he worked as a bioinformatics scientist with Genaissance Pharmaceuticals and Motif Biosciences, Inc.

Dr. Shirish Dharap

Consultant Pathologist

Dr. Dharap has completed his MBBS in 1979 and MD Pathology in 1983 from BJ Medical College Pune. Previously, he has worked with Golwilkar Laboratory and AL-Zahraa Hospital, Hofuf in Saudi Arabia as Head of Pathology. He had started his private practise since 1986 and owns two pathology laboratories in Pune.

Mr. Atul Mahadik

Technical Manager

He Masters in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. He is an expert in molecular testing and has over 6 years experience across a range of laboratory techniques including extraction, PCR, Real-time PCR, data analysis and research in the field of cardiovascular and oncology genetics.







Dr. Neelam Kolte,

Consultant Pathologist

Dr. Kolte has completed her MBBS in 1980 and MD Pathology in 1984 from BJ Medical College Pune. She is an expert in Histopathology and Cytology and has over 30 years experience. She had started her private practice since 1986 and owns pathology laboratories in Pune. Also she is working as Consultant and Head of Department of Cytology at K.E.M. hospital Pune.

Manju Nair

Scientific Officer and counsellor (Medical Genetics)

Ms. Manju Nair is working as a Scientific Officer and counsellor (Medical Genetics) at AyuGen. She holds a Masters degree in Biomedical Genetics and a Diploma in Clinical Research. She has experience of working as a Genetic Counsellor in Oncology and Gynaecology and handling wide range of laboratory techniques, data analysis in molecular biology and cytogenetics. She has contributed in the research project focused on genetics of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). She has also worked in an ICMR funded molecular biology project on HIV at National AIDS research Institute.

Mr. Min Seob Lee Ph.D

Ph.D. in Biological Science

Dr Min Seob Lee is Ph.D. in Biological Science from City of Hope National Medical Center of the Beckman Research Institute in Duarte, California. He holds a Master of Biology and certification of BioTechnology from California State University, Los Angeles. He graduated Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kyung Hee University in Seoul, Korea. He did his post-doctoral fellowship at the Genomics and Proteomics Center at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Lee is a world renowned researcher in Genomics and an outstanding leader in healthcare and bio-tech industries and its implementation for personalized medicine and diagnostics development. Dr. Lee published numerous articles and has been granted several US and international patents in the area of personalized medicine, genomics and diagnostic development. He has extensive global experience and presence in the life sciences, healthcare and IT business area including bio-tech, pharmaceutical and diagnostics companies with expertise in personal genomics, big-data processing, pharmacogenomics, bioinformatics and molecular diagnostic. Prior to the current roles and responsibilities, he held several positions at Sequenom in San Diego within the diagnostic development and molecular lab operation. Earlier, he was in charge of a high throughput HAP Typing and HAP laboratories, and responsible for genomic based molecular test development and performed the high-throughput genome sequencing and genotyping operation at Genaissance Pharmaceuticals in CT, USA. He is also Chairman of Diagnomics Inc, in San Diego, California, and currently assuming a responsibility as a CEO of Eone Diagnomics Genome Center (EDGC) in Incheon Korea. He is a president of Share Genome Organization (Non Profit Research Institute) in California that facilitates researchers and participants to share genome data and informatics resources to promote next generation healthcare and research revolution. He is an advisor of many genomics entities; GenoDoctor, KiraGen, AccuGene, SunGenomics and DragonGene.

Dr. Maritha J. Kotze,

Dr. Maritha J. Kotze, Ph.D., Scientific Advisor, CVD. Founder and director of Gknowmix (Pty) Ltd, South Africa. Over 20 years experience in routine genetic diagnostics and research in the field of cardiovascular genetics. M.Sc. and Ph.D. (1990) from University of Stellenbosch, where she became the head of the Division of Human Genetics in 2000. Previously Managing Director of Genecare Molecular Genetics which provided a platform to develop genetic tests which are now available through pathology laboratories. More than 100 peer-reviewed articles and invited book chapters.
